What level of college baseball is right for you?

This is Step #3 in the 10 Step BRC Recruiting Formula!

#3 What Level of College Baseball is Right for You?

Are you good enough to play D1?

It’s hard to be realistic in assessing our own talent. That’s part of why we suggest that you get out to watch college ball games and compare yourself to what you see. Could you have made that play?

In addition to benchmarking yourself against college players and the metrics below, ask your current coaches for their opinions. Ask where you need work to be considered for a higher level of play or at the most competitive schools. Take their advice on strength training, drills, etc. and work your plan for advancing to the next level.

If your skill level, size, or academics suggest that D1 baseball is not for you, know that there are exciting, challenging and rewarding baseball experiences at other levels of play. And, there are 40,000 player slots there! One of them could be the perfect fit for you.

We want you to set your target high, but always have a Plan B in your pocket. Even the most talented players can experience an unexpected turn, so know your options.
